Budgeting Changes for Expiring Road Levies

Description: Voters in over 30 counties granted approval to extend additional tax levy authority for expiring road levies. Learn about closing out the expired levy funds and how your county’s budget will be affected going forward. Calculations for the portion to be shared with cities will be discussed as well as options for how to account for road and bridge revenue and expenses in your 2025 budgets.
